Have you thought about different classes of clothing and weaponry ?
There is a huge deal in the corporate world if you are wearing a cheap bought suit, Hugo boss/Armani or tailormade.

That could be a good idea for a supplemental rules option, and it's really easy to do through roleplay, but I'd have to consider how to streamline it mechanically.
I can easily see certain items providing Influence bonuses against certain archetypes. An Armani suit might give a +1 Influence bonus to interactions with Suits and Headhunters but a -1 with Radicals, Runners, and Zeroes, and a 0 modifier with other archetypes. However, since there are 13 archetypes and more coming in the supplements, it could eventually be a really big unwieldy chart. Each item would probably have to be fairly limited.
Roll it around in your head and let me know what you come up with, but there's no hurry. I need to get the core rules finished first before we start working on the supplements.
Thanks!

You could make them modifiers for certain social situations instead of making it Archetype based. I will say when Chrome 4 came out for Cyberpunk 2020 clothing and fashion became much more important in our campaigns.

Interesting - I'll have to see if I can find a copy of Chromebook 4 and see if that gives me some extra inspiration.
