So, I'm looking at your questions and going through my scattered old notes, and I'm noticing that the weapons and armor stats have gone through lots of changes at different times, but not necessarily simultaneously. So weapons might have gotten a damage increase, but the armor section didn't change. And so on. I've updated pages 104-110 with new stats, which I think should bring everything up to date, plus some new changes. However, if any of these numbers don't look/play right to you, please let me know. I'm so close to it that sometimes I have trouble seeing the forest for the trees. A 1 MB PDF with just those pages can be downloaded here: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30189637/Corporia_140127_weapons_update.pdfThanks much, Mark

Okay, I have to say that I think that thrown weapon damage should be 1/2 str + whatever the standard damage of the weapon is. For example, for a character with 3 str a throwing dagger should be 1+1 damage (always round down!) and an axe for the same character would be 1d4+1. Just a thought. Also I think that the X-Calibre is nerfed. It has the standard ROF, an excellent chance not to need reloading (despite the explanation that it may need more reloading due to the limitations of superconductors), has the worst range ever, only does 3d6 (less than the rifle), and requires a 4 in the ranged weapon skill. All toll, the weapon is unimpressive. Regarding armors, I have to say that the penalty to defense rolls is so severe that it ALMOST doesn't make up for the fact that you will almost always get hit but with the changes you made I feel that the tradeoff is much better. Perhaps a new upgrade or mod that helps reduce the DFT penalty like straps that more efficiently distribute weight. I would also like to see a caster shield (selfish but I love casters). I think that the energy resistance is a bit high on traditional armor. Lastly I feel that all the DR offered on the riot shield doesn't make up for the low DR. The way you have it currently the total DR for the riot shield is 9 which is the same as the DR total on the wooden shield and you're still able to attack while wielding the wooden shield.

Good comments, thanks! I'll review them.
On a related note, I've changed the Hardened and Silkskin augments to be +2 to DR instead of +1. So characters with low MTL should definitely consider taking one of those.
