So, I'm unable to find rules covering defense against firearms. I at first thought it was the same as dodging Melee (DFT+ATHL), but that gives one of my players a +10 to dodging bullets... My other thought was that you don't get defense against Firearms, but would that mean that shooting someone automatically works? Right now we're ruling that it's DFT+ATHL-(rating of gun), but I'm not completely satisfied with this.

Yes, sorry - that rule is on page 68. I'll have to make some edits to the Defense section.
The dodge roll abstracts the character being in motion and/or predicting where the shooter is aiming (trying not to get shot), not actually being able to see the bullet in slow motion. If a character is standing still and/or unaware of the shooter, the Director certainly might not allow a defense roll in those circumstances.
You may be interested to know that my latest version adds this text to the Athletics skill description: Special: PCs can dodge Firearms attacks, but no more than a number of times per round equal to his or her MTL score. So be careful in mass battles!

That helps a lot, thanks.
I suppose I was mostly looking for it in the Defense section in the beginning when it came up.

No problem - I've added an explanation in the Defense section. Thanks!
