Director again. I'm curious about the differences between all the various movements such as walk, jog, and run? Also putting swimming in the box on pg 22 would be lovely.

Sorry, I don't understand the question... Each one simply allows you to move a greater distance per Move action.

I mean why would I use walk or jog if running gives more distance and can lead to a sprint and is a standard move action. If that is true jogging and walking are not particularly necessary. I suppose walk could work when a character is on an uneven surface and max morvent is restricted but I'm not seeing what jog does. Also what is the numbers on swim? [(Str+athletics)xN]?

Basically, because if I just put Run on there, then people would ask where Walk, Jog, etc. were. Swim and Climb have the same movement speeds.

Plus movement speed could come up in non-combat situations as well, following someone at a walk, etc etc

Yep - there are all sorts of reasons why games need more than one movement speed.
